KPTCL 2022 Exam Pattern and Syllabus - Complete Details

Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer and Junior Assistant. The KPTCL Exam 2022 is a state-level exam. There are a total of 1492 vacancies, and the candidates have to appear for an online aptitude test conducted across Karnataka. KPTCL Exam Pattern

The KPTCL Exam Pattern is a two-stage process,

  • Online exam
  • Interview

The KPTCL Exam 2022 is going to be conducted for the recruitment of eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Engineer (Electrical or Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical or Civil), and Junior Assistant. The candidates who appear for the online aptitude test shall be shortlisted based on the merit list. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview process. The final selection of the candidates will be after the interview and document verification. 
The candidates applying for the following posts should have passed the 10th Standard with Kannada as 1st or 2nd language:
1. Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical)
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical or Civil)
If the candidates who want to apply for these posts have not studied Kannad in 10th Standard, they must appear for the Kannada language test conducted before the Online Aptitude Test.
The Kannada language test is a Multiple Choice Question-based online test, and it is conducted only in the Bangalore centre. The total weightage of the language test will be 150 marks.|
After passing the Kannada language test with at least 50% marks, the candidates can appear for the KPTCL Online Aptitude test.
