The Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) conducts online exams for various posts like Trainee Officer (Junior Officer Grade), Associate, Typist (Associate Grade), and Driver (Driver Grade). MSC Bank Trainee Typist (In Associate Grade) Exam Pattern

 

Selection for trainee typists is done in two phases: an online exam (Phase I) and a typing skill test (Phase II). Candidates must score a minimum of 100 marks in Phase I to qualify for Phase II. The final merit list is based solely on qualifications in the skill test.

  • Phase I:  Online Examination
  • Phase I consists of 160 questions for 200 marks to be completed in 120 minutes. The Marathi language section (80 marks) is answered in Marathi; all other sections are in English.
  • Negative marking applies as per the standard pattern.

MSC Bank Trainee Typist (In Associate Grade) Phase II Typing Skill Test Pattern

 

Candidates who qualify Phase I are called for the Typing Skill Test conducted by the bank. Key requirements for Phase II are

  • Minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in Marathi and 40 w.p.m. in English
  • Must have passed the Government Commercial Certificate Exam in both languages
  • Preference given to candidates with Marathi/English stenography course completion
  • The final merit list is decided entirely on the basis of qualifying the skill test.

The exam is bilingual (English and Marathi), except the general English section, which is in English only. It consists of 120 questions for 120 marks to be completed in 90 minutes. Candidates must score a minimum of 50% (60 marks) to qualify for the personal interview and driving test.
