SBI PO 2022 Exam Pattern: SBI released the official recruitment notification for the post of Probationary Officer on 21st September 2022. A total of 1673 vacancies are out. SBI PO exam is a 3 Stage Recruitment Exam. Here's how it is conducted:

  • Phase 1 – Prelims Exam (Written)

Objective Test

The duration of the objective test is 3 hours. The paper consists of 4 Sections and a total of 200 marks. Each section is timed separately.

Penalty for wrong answer: A candidate will lose 0.25 marks for every wrong attempt in SBI PO Mains objective paper as well. However, no deduction will be there if a question is left unattempted by candidates.

Descriptive Test

The objective paper is followed by a Descriptive Test of 30 minutes. It contains two questions carrying 50 marks for the test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

SBI PO Interview Pattern

Once the Candidate clears the Mains Exam, they will be called for the SBI PO Interview Round. It consists of a Psychometric Test, Group Exercise and a Face to Face Interview Round where a Panel of Experts conducts the interview. Questions are asked on the Candidate's personality, Background, Current Events, Banking & Financial Sector, etc.
