The South Indian Bank Junior Officer Notification 2026 was officially released on 20 February 2026. As per the latest notification, the recruitment process for the Junior Officer (Business Promotion Officer) post will be conducted through a Group Discussion (GD) followed by a Personal Interview (PI). There will be no written examination this year, which marks a key change in the selection process. Candidates will be evaluated based on their communication skills, subject knowledge, confidence, and overall suitability for the role during the GD and interview rounds.

The South Indian Bank Junior Officer syllabus is based on the previous year's notification PDF for the South Indian Bank Junior Officer exam. The SIB Recruitment official syllabus has not been released yet. As per last year's recruitment notification, the written exam was conducted in offline mode and consisted of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions.

  • The paper will cover four major sections: General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General Science, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics.
  • Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark, summing up to 100 marks in total, and the exam duration is 2 hours.
  • Negative Marking: One of the key advantages is that there is no negative marking, allowing candidates to attempt all questions confidently.
  • Bilingual Mode: The exam will be held in both Hindi and English.
