SSC CGL JSO Nationality Criteria

 

Candidates applying for SSC CGL JSO posts must fulfill the nationality conditions prescribed by SSC.

A candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries for permanent settlement in India

Candidates belonging to categories other than Indian citizens may need to produce an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

 

SSC CGL JSO Paper 2 Requirement

 

Candidates applying for the Junior Statistical Officer post must appear for Paper II (Statistics) in Tier 2 examination. This paper is compulsory only for JSO candidates.
