JAIIB Cut Off: As per the official notification released by the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) for the JAIIB 2025 examination, there is no official cutoff released separately for the exam. Candidates appearing for the JAIIB exam will be declared pass based on the passing criteria set by IIBF.

In this blog, we have provided all the details related to the JAIIB pass criteria, credit retention, and class of pass to help candidates clearly understand the requirements for clearing the exam.

What is the JAIIB Passing Criteria?

To pass the JAIIB exam, candidates are generally required to score at least 50 marks out of 100 in each subject. However, there is a relaxation: if a candidate scores 45 marks in any subject but manages to achieve an overall aggregate of 50% or more in a single attempt, they will also be considered as having passed. Additionally, any marks obtained in subjects that have already been cleared are retained as credits and can be carried forward within the allowed validity period of the exam.

  • Minimum Marks per Subject: 50 out of 100.
  • Aggregate Passing Rule: Candidates scoring 45 in a subject but achieving 50% overall in a single attempt are also considered passed.
  • Credit Retention: Marks in cleared subjects are retained until the passing validity period ends.
