The JAIIB (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of the Bankers) exam is exclusively open to individuals working in the banking and financial services sector who hold ordinary membership with the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF). Eligibility extends to employees of institutions that are institutional members of IIBF. 

Both clerical and supervisory staff are eligible to apply for the JAIIB exam. In exceptional cases, candidates who have not passed the 12th standard may also be permitted to appear, provided they receive a recommendation from their bank's Branch Manager or Officer-in-Charge.

 

JAIIB Exam Eligibility 2025

 

There is no specific age limit for the JAIIB Eligibility Criteria 2025. Candidates of any age can apply as long as they meet the other qualifications. However, candidates must have work experience in the banking or finance sector. Additionally, candidates are allowed 5 consecutive attempts or 3 years, whichever earlier. If a candidate is unable to pass within this period, they will need to reregister and start the process over.

JAIIB 2025 Age Limit

 

There is no upper age limit prescribed for appearing in the JAIIB (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) examination. As long as candidates meet the eligibility criteria set by the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) primarily being an existing member of the Institute they are eligible to apply, regardless of their age.

Only Indian nationals are eligible to register and appear for the JAIIB Exam. All applicants must submit valid identity proof during the registration process to successfully complete their application. Any one of the following documents is accepted as valid identity proof:
