The RBI Assistant Exam consists of two stages: Preliminary and Mains, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Candidates must have a thorough understanding of the syllabus to perform well in the exam. The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam assesses candidates on three subjects: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. In the Mains Exam, the subjects expand to include General Awareness, English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and Computer Knowledge. The exam comprises 200 questions across five sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Reasoning Ability.

RBI Assistant Syllabus


The RBI Assistant Exam 2025, conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), is an online, objective-based test. The Prelims Exam has a duration of 60 minutes, while the Mains Exam lasts 135 minutes. The test includes questions from English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Awareness, with a negative marking of 1/4th for each incorrect answer.
