Documents Required for Completing RBI Grade B Application
The documents required to apply online for RBI Grade B include the following:
- Candidates wanting reservation provided for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWSs/Ex-servicemen must have the needed documents in the prescribed format to verify their claim for such benefits. These certificates must be dated on or before the online application deadline for the posts.
- A candidate who needs a certificate of eligibility may be admitted to the test, but an offer of employment may be made only when the Government of India issues the required eligibility certificate.
- All candidates, other than casual or daily rated employees or those who fall in the following categories must submit an undertaking in the application that they have informed in writing to their departments: a. Serving under the Public Enterprises, b. Already in Government Service, and c. Those in Government industrial undertakings, or other similar organizations (permanent or temporary)
- To get reservation, the candidate must have the required income and asset certificates on or before the deadline for applications for the positions.
- Female applicants who have changed their first, last, or middle names after marriage.
- Candidates with changed names will be permitted only when they provide an original Gazette Notification/original marriage certificate or affidavit in original, along with a photocopy.
- If a candidate experiences a physical disability during the examination process, they must produce a valid document showing that the disability is 40% or more as defined by the RPWD Act, 2016. Only then will they get the PwBD reservation.
Guidelines for Uploading Documents
Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below.
(i) Photograph Image: (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- The photograph must be a recent passport-style color picture.
- Make sure that the picture is in color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white background.
- Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
- The size of the file should be between 20kb–50 kb
- Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb.
(ii) Signature, Left Thumb (LT) impression, and Handwriting declaration Image
- Sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen.
- Put the left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink
- Write the declaration in English clearly on white paper with black ink.
- The signature left a thumb impression, and the handwritten declaration should be of the applicant and not of any other person.
- If the Applicant's signature on the attendance sheet or Call letter, signed at the time of the examination does not match the signature uploaded, the Applicant will be disqualified.

- For registration, the candidates just need to enter some basic details such as name, dob, parent's name, etc.

Prerequisites For Filling Out the RBI Grade B Application Form
To fill up the RBI Grade B application form correctly, candidates should check out the following prerequisites:
- Scan the photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature, left thumb impression, and a hand-written declaration as per the required specifications.
- Signatures in CAPITAL LETTERS are not acceptable.
- The left thumb impression must be scanned. (If a candidate does not have a left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb for applying)
- The text for the hand-written declaration is as follows – "I, _ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required."
- The Handwritten declaration for RBI Grade B has to be in the candidate's handwriting and in English only. The application will be considered invalid if it is written by someone else.
- In the case of Visually Impaired candidates who cannot write may get the text of the declaration typed put their left hand thumb impression below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications.
- Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges
- Have a valid personal email ID & mobile number which must remain active till the completion of this recruitment process. The bank may send intimation to download call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. E-mail ID must remain the same during the entire process of recruitment.
