The Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) announced the RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Date 2022 on 12 April 2022. RRB NTPC 2022 CBT 2 exam will be conducted on 9 and 10 May 2022 for recruitment to 35,281 (Revised) vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts, such as Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Junior Account Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. On the 9th and 10th of May 2022, the RRB NTPC 2022 CBT-2 Exam for Pay Levels 4 and 6 will be held. Soon, more dates will be released for the other levels.
RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam On 9 & 10 May 2022
- The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) was held in 7 phases from December 28,2020 to July 31, 2021
- The result of CBT-1 was published in the official Websites of RRBs between March 30th March, 2022 to April 1, 2022
- The 2nd Stage Computer based Test (CBT-2) for the candidates who get shortlisted for Pay Level-4 and 6 in CBT-1, is tentatively scheduled to be held on 09th and 10th May-2022 subject to the prevailing conditions.
- Exam schedule for Pay levels 2,3 and 5 will be announced later.
- Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
- Beware of touts who try to misguide candidates with fake promises of appointment for jobs on illegal consideration. RRB selections are based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates.
RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Pattern
Candidates passing the CBT Stage 1 will be eligible to appear in CBT Stage 2.
Separate 2nd Stage CBT shall be taken for each of the 7th CPC Level i.e. Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 with graded difficulty level. All posts falling within the same level of 7th CPC shall have a common 2nd stage CBT. If candidates are eligible for more than one level of 7th CPC posts as per their educational qualifications, they have to give common 1st stage CBT and corresponding 2nd stage CBT for each level of 7th CPC.
The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.

Note: There will be negative marking and a 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Typing Speed / Skill Test
Skill test/type test will be conducted for both CBT qualifying candidates as per the requirement. The typing speed for both Hindi and English languages should be so that candidates applying for the recruitment of RRB NTPC should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi. This will make it difficult for you to be selected in RRB NTPC at a low speed.
