A new change this year is the introduction of sectional timing, where each section must be attempted within a fixed time limit. The details of the SSC CGL Exam Pattern are as follows:

  1. Exam Duration: 1 hour
  2. Negative Marking: 0.50 marks per wrong answer.
  3. Qualification Process: Tier-1 is qualifying; Tier-2 determines final merit.
  4. Paper 1: Must qualify each section separately.

The SSC Phase 14 Exam Pattern 2026 will consists of a single-tier exam with 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks, divided equally among four sections: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language each having 25 questions for 50 marks. A new change this year is the introduction of sectional timing, where each section must be attempted within a fixed time limit.
