SSC CHSL Eligibility 2025, Age Limit, Qualification

The Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission every year, candidates interested in appearing for the SSC CHSL 2025 examination must fulfill the SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria set by the SSC. The SSC CHSL 2025 Eligibility Includes:

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria

 

The SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2025 will be released with the SSC CHSL 2025 Notification on 27th May 2025 for the recruitment of LDC, JSA, and DEO.To apply, candidates must meet the SSC CHSL age limit of 18 to 27 years and have passed or be appearing for the Class 12 exam, as per last year's rules. SSC CHSL Age Limit

 

Every candidate applying online for the SSC CHSL Examination 2025 must fulfill the following age criteria. Candidates should note that the SSC will only accept the date of birth as recorded on the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate available at the time of submission.

SSC CHSL Nationality

 

To be eligible for the SSC CHSL exam, candidates need to meet certain nationality requirements and have proof of it. Candidates must belong to one of the following nationalities:

SSC CHSL Educational Qualifications

 

The Staff Selection Commission has set the SSC CHSL Education Qualification details which every candidate should have to appear for the SSC CHSL Examination.

  • Completion of 12th Grade: Any candidate who has completed their 12th grade in any subject is eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Candidates Awaiting Results: Those who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examination can apply; however, they must possess essential qualifications on or before the cutoff date of 1st August 2024.

SSC CHSL Post Wise Educational Qualification

SSC CHSL Physical and Medical Standards For LDC in BRO

 

For candidates applying for the position of Lower Division Clerk in the Border Roads Organization (BRO) under SSC CHSL 2025, it is essential to meet certain physical and medical standards. These standards are necessary to ensure that candidates are physically fit for the demands of the role.

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates must complete a one-mile run within 10 minutes. This test is compulsory for all candidates.
  • Medical Examination: Candidates will undergo a medical test to check their physical fitness, including vision, height, weight, and chest measurements.
  • Temporary Medical Unfitness: Candidates found temporarily unfit can appeal for a re-medical test.
  • Permanent Medical Unfitness: Candidates declared permanently unfit will not be considered for final selection.
  • Medical Exam Attendance: Candidates must attend the medical test on the assigned date. Absence will lead to cancellation of the application.
  • Final Selection: Only candidates who pass the medical test and meet all physical & medical standards will move forward in the recruitment process.
