Every year, the Staff Selection Commission conducts the Junior Engineer (JE) Examination to recruit candidates for Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering posts. As per the SSC Calendar 2025, Paper 1 of the SSC JE examination is expected to be held between October and November 2025. The SSC JE Notification is expected to be released on 5th August 2025. SSC JE Exam Date 2025

 

The SSC JE Exam Date 2025 is important for candidates to prepare well for the exam. Knowing the exam schedule helps candidates create a proper study plan. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the exact exam date in the SSC JE Notification 2025, which is set to be released on 5th August 2025. The SSC JE Exam 2025 is scheduled to be held between October and November 2025, giving candidates ample time to revise and strengthen their concepts.

SSC JE Exam Process 2025

 

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Junior Engineer exam to recruit qualified candidates for clerical posts in various government organizations. It's conducted in three phases which are Paper I, Paper II, and Document Verification based on last year's SSC JE Notification.

  • Paper I: Objective-type computer-based test with three sections.
  • Paper II: Computer-based exam focusing on the candidate's engineering domain.
  • Document Verification: Candidates must submit the required documents as per the instructions of the exam authority.

SSC JE Exam Shift Timings

 

Last year, the SSC Junior Engineer Exam was conducted in multiple shifts. The expected SSC Junior Engineer Exam shift timings for CBT Paper I, based on last year's schedule followed by SSC, are as follows:
