IBPS AFO Exam Pattern: Candidates who have already applied for IBPS AFO 2026 or are planning to apply are advised to begin their preparation soon. Understanding the exam pattern is a crucial part of an effective preparation strategy. IBPS AFO Exam Pattern 2026

 

The IBPS AFO exam pattern includes 2 phases, where Phase 1 includes 150 objective-type questions across reasoning, English language, and quantitative aptitude sections. The total marks for the exam will be 125. The exam will end in 120 minutes. 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. In Phase 2 of the IBPS AFO exam, candidates are tested on Professional Knowledge related to agriculture. The paper under the IBPS AFO exam pattern consists of 60 objective-type questions, carrying a total of 60 marks, to be completed in 45 minutes.

The IBPS AFO Prelims Exam includes 3 main subjects, which are Reasoning Ability, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. This is the first screening stage, and the exam is conducted online. Candidates can check the exam pattern of these subjects below:

The IBPS AFO Mains exam duration is 45 minutes. Candidates who clear the prelims will move on to the mains exam, which tests their professional knowledge related to agriculture. As per the IBPS AFO exam pattern, the mains exam includes the following:
