The IBPS AFO Apply Online 2026 process has commenced with the release of the IBPS SO Notification 2026. Candidates aspiring to become an agriculture field officer (Scale I) in participating public sector banks must complete the online application within the prescribed registration period. Before submitting the application form, candidates should carefully check the eligibility criteria, keep all required documents ready in the prescribed format, and ensure that every detail entered is accurate. Since the recruitment process consists of the preliminary exam, main exam, and interview, completing the application correctly is the first and most important step toward selection.

IBPS AFO Apply Online 2026 Link

 

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has activated the online application portal for CRP SPL-XVI. Interested candidates can register themselves by visiting the official website and completing all the required stages of the application process. Candidates should avoid waiting until the last day, as heavy website traffic may lead to technical issues. The application link remains active only till 21 July 2026.

How to Apply Online for IBPS AFO 2026?

 

The IBPS AFO application process is completely online. Candidates must complete each stage carefully, from registration to fee payment, as incorrect information cannot be edited after final submission.

Step 1: Visit the Official IBPS Website

 

Visit the official IBPS website and click on the CRP Specialist Officers (CRP SPL-XVI) recruitment link available on the homepage. This will redirect you to the online application portal where you can begin the registration process.

Step 2: Complete New Registration

 

Click on "Click Here for New Registration" and enter your basic details such as your name, mobile number, and email ID. Once the registration is completed successfully, the system generates a provisional registration number and password, which are also sent to your registered email ID and mobile number. Keep these credentials safe, as they are required for future login.

Step 3: Fill the Online Application Form

 

Log in using the provisional registration number and password. Enter all personal details, educational qualifications, communication address, category details, preferred examination centres, and other information carefully. Before moving to the next page, review every field thoroughly because incorrect information may lead to rejection during document verification.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

 

Upload your recent passport-size photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, Class 10 certificate, live photograph, and other applicable documents in the prescribed format and file size. The system will allow you to proceed only after all mandatory documents are uploaded successfully.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

 

After completing the application form, proceed to the online payment gateway. Candidates can pay the application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, UPI, or Mobile Wallets. Wait until the transaction is completed successfully and the payment confirmation page appears.

Step 6: Verify and Submit the Application

 

Carefully verify every detail entered in the application form before clicking on Complete Registration. Once the form is submitted, no modifications will be allowed except during the official edit window (where applicable). Download and print both the submitted application form and the e-receipt for future reference.

 

IBPS AFO Application Fee 2026

 

Candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee through online mode while submitting the application form. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any future recruitment process. Bank transaction charges, if applicable, are to be borne by the candidate.

Photograph Specifications

 

Candidates must upload a recent colour passport-size photograph. The image should be clear, taken against a light-coloured background, and must strictly follow the dimensions and file size prescribed by IBPS. Blurred or unclear photographs may result in rejection of the application.

Handwritten Declaration Specifications

Live Photograph Requirements

 

During the online registration process, IBPS also requires candidates to capture and upload a live photograph using a webcam or mobile phone.
