IBPS PO Notification 2025 Released for 5208 Vacancies, Apply Now

IBPS PO Notification 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS PO Exam annually to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officers in 11 public sector banks across India. Introduced in 2011, the exam enters its 15th edition as IBPS CRP PO/MT-XV 2025. The IBPS PO Notification has been released on 30th June 2025. The selection process includes three stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview, all conducted online at various centers nationwide. The official notification, including details on vacancies, eligibility criteria, and application dates, is released on the official IBPS website at www.ibps.in.

 

IBPS PO Exam Date 2025 Out


The IBPS Exam Calendar 2025 has confirmed the revised dates for the IBPS PO 2025 Preliminary and Main exams. As per the updated schedule, the IBPS PO Prelims will be held on 17th, 23rd, and 24th August 2025, while the Main Exam is scheduled for 12th October 2025. However, the official notification have not confirmed the exact dates but has confirmed the months of prelims and mains exam. Further details, including exam center locations, shift timings, and reporting instructions, will be mentioned in the IBPS PO Admit Card 2025, which will be issued to registered candidates on the official IBPS website.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2025 Revised

 

The biggest update of the IBPS PO 2025 Notification is that the exam pattern has been revised. In the prelims exam pattern, the maximum marks for Quantitative Aptitude has been decreased from 35 to 30 and the maximum marks for Reasoning has been increased from 35 to 40. There are some major changes in the mains exam pattern as well. The number of questions in reasoning has been decreased from 45 to 40. For General & Banking Awareness, the number of questions has been decreased from 40 to 35. There have been some other changes as well. Check out the detailed revised IBPS PO Exam Pattern.

 

IBPS PO 2025 Highlights

 

The IBPS PO selection process includes three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. All stages will be held in online mode across various exam centers in India. Candidates selected as POs will receive a monthly salary in the range of ₹52,000 to ₹55,000. Applications are accepted online only.

How to Fill IBPS PO Application Form 2025?


The process to submit the IBPS PO Application Form 2025 is simple once candidates understand the exact steps and required resources. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will announce the deadline for the IBPS PO Application Form 2025 along with the notification. The IBPS PO 2025 application fee must be paid online and is non-refundable under any circumstances. To apply for IBPS PO 2025, candidates must meet the IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria set by IBPS. A graduate degree from a recognized university is required. IBPS PO Selection Process
 

The IBPS PO exam is conducted annually through the Common Recruitment Process (CRP). In 2025, it is known as IBPS PO/MT CRP XV. The selection process consists of three stages—Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Candidates must clear each stage to proceed to the next.

  • Preliminary Exam – Shortlisting based on performance and cut off.
  • Mains Exam – Candidates must clear both sectional and overall cutoffs.
  • Interview – Conducted by participating banks and coordinated by IBPS.
  • Final Result – Based on Mains (80%) + Interview (20%) performance.

The IBPS PO Main exam is an online test consisting of five sections, including a descriptive paper, with a total duration of 210 minutes. Candidates must clear both Preliminary and Main exams to qualify for the interview.

IBPS PO Salary 2025


The starting IBPS PO In Hand Salary ranges between ₹52,000 to ₹55,000 per month, including dearness allowance, special allowances, and other benefits. The basic pay for a newly appointed PO is ₹36,000, as per the latest salary revision under the 11th Bipartite Settlement. The final salary structure may vary depending on the location of posting, perks, and deductions.

 

IBPS PO Admit Card 2025


Candidates must download the IBPS PO Admit Card 2025 from the official IBPS website, as no hard copies will be sent via post. To access the admit card, candidates need to log in using their Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password. The admit card will be released 10 to 15 days before the exam and will be issued in three phases:

  • Online Preliminary Examination
  • Online Mains Examination
  • Interview

Candidates must ensure they download and print their admit card well in advance, as it is mandatory to carry it to the exam center along with a valid photo ID.

 

IBPS PO Result 2025


The IBPS PO Result 2025 will be announced after the completion of each phase of the examination. The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise, based on the combined scores of the Online Mains Examination and Interview. Candidates who secure a rank within the available vacancies in their respective categories will be considered for appointment, subject to medical fitness.

IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training
