Nationality/Citizenship: Candidates must be either:
- A citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement, provided they have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

- For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years as on June 1, 2023.
- For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years and below 30 years as on June 3, 2023.
