To be eligible for IBPS RRB PO 2026, Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably with knowledge in agriculture, IT, management, law, economics, or accountancy, and be 18–30 years old. Officer Scale-II (Manager/Specialist Officers) requires a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in relevant fields, along with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience, and an age of 21–32 years. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager) candidates need a bachelor's degree with 50% marks, preferably in banking, finance, management, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years' experience, and age 21–40 years.

Age Relaxation for Reserved Categories

 

The age relaxation for the reserved categories is as per govt. rules.

  • SC/ST: +5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): +10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Actual service period + 3 years (up to 50 years for SC/ST)
  • Ex-Servicemen Commissioned Officers: +5 years

Note: Relaxations are cumulative with only one other category (PwBD/ESM/Widow) as permitted by the government.

What is the educational qualification required for IBPS RRB PO?

What nationality is eligible for IBPS RRB PO?
