RRB NTPC CBAT Exam - Typing Skill Test Re-Exam

After the successful conduction of RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the notice announcing the RRB NTPC CBAT exam date and it will be conducted on 30th July 2022 for Pay Level- 4& 6. Whereas, the CBT Stage 1 for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Exam 2019-20 was conducted in 7 phases in 2020. We will look at it in detail in this blog on the RRB NTPC Exam Date for both CBT Stage 1 & Stage 2 and CBAT. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released a total of 35281 vacancies to be filled under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC).

RRB NTPC Exam Date For CBAT Out

Aadhaar linked Biometric authentication of candidates will be done in the exam center prior to entry into the exam hall. Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card. Check important dates here : 

RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test Re - exam

• The first shift of Computer Based Typing Skill test (CEN - 01/2019) scheduled to be held on August 12, 2022 was cancelled due to technical reasons.
• The re-exam is scheduled to be held on 27 August 2022
• The link for viewing the exam city and date and downloading of Travelling Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available on 19 August 2022.

RRB NTPC Exam Other Updates

1. RRB has released Special Instructions regarding Typing tests on 30 July 2022.Check complete details here
2. RRB on 27th June released the tentative dates for RRB NTPC CBAT Exam (Pay Level- 4 & 6)
3. RRB on 27th May released the tentative dates for RRB NTPC CBT Stage 2 (Pay Level-5, 3 & 2).
4. The RRB NTPC CBT-2 for Pay Level-5, 3 & 2 is to be conducted from 12th to 17th June 2022.
5. RRB on 12 March released the exam date for the RRB NTPC CBT Stage 2 exam i.e. exam to be conducted on 9 & 10 May 2022.
6. 20 times unique candidates will be shortlisted with Pay Level wise for 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for CEN 01/2019 (NTPC).
7. The candidates already announced qualified will continue to remain qualified.
8. The list of additional candidates getting shortlisted will be notified at each Pay Level.
9. RRB wise 2nd Stage CBT for each Pay Level with all candidates of one RRB accommodated in a single shift which should eliminate normalization. Wherever single shift is not possible because of capacity constraints or otherwise, percentile based normalization will be done.

RRB NTPC Exam Day Instructions

Important Things to Carry : 

1. Admit Card- Candidates must carry their e-admit card.
2. Photo ID Proof – Candidates must bring a Valid Photo ID (Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar (not Xerox copy of Aadhaar), Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt. employee, College / University Photo ID card, if still studying, in ORIGINAL to the examination hall, failing which candidates shall NOT be allowed to appear for the CBT, CBAT/TST, DV (as applicable). The name, date of birth, and photo on the ID should match with the details furnished in the online application, failing which the candidate may not be permitted to appear in CBT, CBAT/TST, DV (as applicable).
3. One colored photograph of size 35 mm x 45 mm [Carry the Photo that you have uploaded during registration]
4. Candidates should leave blank spaces provided in the downloaded e-Call letter for writing a self-declaration paragraph (as the paragraph will be displayed on the screen during CBT), signature, and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) unfilled while coming for the exam.

Warning: Candidates will have to write the paragraph of Self-Declaration, sign and affix LTI at the venue of the CBT, CBAT/TST (as applicable) in the presence of the invigilator at the Examination hall ONLY and hand over the same to the invigilator before the conclusion of the examination. Candidates writing the self-declaration paragraph in advance and/or Signing in CAPITAL letters will be rejected.

Banned Items – What not to carry

As per the official notification, RRB has mentioned these items that candidates must not carry inside the examination hall.

Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wristwatches, or any other communication devices or pen/pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes, and metallic wear including ornaments, etc. are strictly NOT allowed inside the exam hall.
