The State Bank of India has announced the tentative schedule for the SBI PO 2026 recruitment process. SBI PO Age Limit 2026
As per the SBI PO Notification 2026, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 1st April 2026. Applicants should have been born not earlier than 2nd April 1996 and not later than 1st April 2005. Reserved category candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India guidelines.
SBI PO Educational Qualification 2026
Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Final-year students can also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 30th September 2026. Candidates holding professional qualifications such as CA, Engineering, Cost Accountancy, or Medical degrees are also eligible to apply.
SBI PO Attempt Limit 2026
SBI has prescribed category-wise limits on the number of attempts. General and EWS candidates can avail a maximum of six attempts, while OBC and PwBD candidates can appear up to nine times. The mains examination for the SBI PO exam is a more comprehensive stage that includes both objective and descriptive tests. The objective section is of 200 marks, covering reasoning, data analysis, general awareness, and English language.
