When will the SEBI Grade A 2026 exam dates be released?

 

The SEBI Grade A 2026 exam dates for General, IT, Legal, Official Language, and other streams are expected to be announced by October 2026 along with the official notification. The recruitment process has three stages. The 1st stage is the Prelims (Phase 1), which is likely to take place in November 2026. The 2nd stage is the Mains (Phase 2), which is expected to be conducted in December 2026. Finally, candidates who qualify in Phase 2 will be called for the Personal Interview, and the dates for this round will be announced after the Phase 2 results are released.

When are the SEBI Grade A 2026 Phase 1 and 2 exams scheduled?

 

The SEBI Grade A Phase 1 exam is scheduled to be held 60 days after the notification is released, followed by the Phase 2 exam, which is scheduled to take place 30 days after the Phase 1 exam.

Candidates were allowed to select up to three cities for Phase 1 and one city for Phase 2, and the cities for the two phases can be different. Candidates must attend the exam at their own cost, as SEBI does not provide travel, boarding, or lodging. 

The organization is not responsible for any loss or injury during the exam. SEBI may change exam centers if required. All centers will have facilities for low-vision candidates. The exact exam shift and venue details will be provided in the admit card, and requests to change the exam center will not be accepted.

What is the SEBI Grade A exam pattern?

 

The SEBI Grade A Exam has three stages Phase 1 (Prelims) with two objective papers for screening, Phase 2 (Mains) with one descriptive and one objective paper, and an Interview. Marks from Phase 2 and the Interview (85:15 ratio) are used for final selection, while Phase 1 is only qualifying. Negative marking applies in all objective papers.
