What is the age limit and relaxation for IIFCL Grade A?

 

The IIFCL Grade A and Grade B posts have different age limit criteria as of 28th February 2026. For the Grade A post, candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years. For the Grade B post, candidates must not have attained the age of 40 years on the same date. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India guidelines.

What is the educational qualification require to apply for the IIFCL Grade A post?

 

The educational qualification and work experience for the IIFCL Grade A and Grade B posts differ based on the stream and level. For Grade A, candidates must have the required educational qualification along with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in the officer cadre. For Grade B, candidates must also meet the same stream-wise qualification, but the experience requirement is higher, including at least 2 years in relevant areas and a minimum of 7 years of overall experience in the officer or executive cadre. For both posts, qualifications must be from recognized institutions, and only post-qualification experience will be counted.

The selection process for the IIFCL Grade A Assistant Manager post includes 2 stages an online examination and an interview. Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the online exam and those who clear the cut-off are called for a technical and behavioural interview. The final selection is made using a combined score, with 40% weightage for the online exam and 60% for the interview. 

The online exam has 2 tests covering Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Financial Sector Current Affairs, and Domain Knowledge, with negative marking of 1/4 for wrong answers. Candidates must qualify both stages, and IIFCL may also conduct a Group Discussion or Psychometric Test if required.

What is the IIFCL Grade A salary ?

 

The IIFCL Grade A and Grade B posts offer an attractive pay scale along with multiple allowances, perquisites, and long-term career growth opportunities. The Grade A post comes with a starting basic pay of Rs. 44,500, while the Grade B post offers a starting basic pay of Rs. 55,200. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates are eligible for Dearness Allowance, Grade Allowance, Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, Special Allowance, and other benefits as per company rules. Both posts also come with probation, transfer liability across India, and pension benefits under the New Pension Scheme.

Along with these, candidates also get benefits such as leased accommodation facility in lieu of HRA, gratuity, leave fare concession, leave encashment, reimbursement of medical expenses, meal card, mobile, residential telephone, newspaper, eye refraction, household expenses, mobile handset charges, children education allowance, book grant, briefcase, furnishing allowance for residence, interest-free festival advance, and concessional loans for car, housing, travel, and personal computer/tablets.

The HRA is 15% of the basic pay if the lease facility is not availed. Grade A officers are also covered under the New Pension Scheme (NPS).

Yes, candidates can get extra increments with the IIFCL Grade A salary. Candidates who possess JAIIB, CAIIB, or other professional qualifications may be given one or two additional increments in the pay scale as per the company's policy. Apart from this, the management may also grant up to two more increments in deserving cases. However, the grant of these additional increments is subject to the discretion of the management.
