Age Criteria
The minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as of 01.01.2023. The maximum age shall not be more than 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002 both days inclusive only are eligible )

LIC AAO 2023: Educational Qualifications
A. For AAO (Generalist) – Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
B. For AAO (IT) – Graduation degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or an MSC(Computer Science) from a recognized Indian University/Institution.
C. For AAO (Chartered Accountant) – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidate should have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and completion of Articles as presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The candidate should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
D. For AAO (Actuarial) – Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. (Total 6 or more papers) as on the date of eligibility. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
E. For AAO (Rajbhasha) – Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.
LIC AAO 2023 Notification: Online Application Process
Prerequisites for Applying Online
Before applying online, candidates should,
- Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under “Guidelines for photograph & signature scan and upload”.
- Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process. Bank shall send call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile no. before applying online and must maintain that email account and mobile number.
- Be prepared for biometric verification of identity at the Exam Centre at the time of the Main Examination and onwards.

Steps to Apply for LIC AAO 2023 Exam Online
Step 1.
Use the link “Apply Online” link to land on the Registration page.
Step 2.
Click on the link given at the top right corner that reads “Click here for New Registrations”.
Step 3.
You will be redirected to a new page. Read the instructions carefully and click on “Continue”.
Step 4.
You will see 6 tabs in front of you. The tabs will be Basic Info, Photo & Signature, Details, Preview, Uploads & Payment.
Step 5.
Tab 1 – Basic Info – Fill in your Basic Information: Name, Mobile No., Email Id, etc. Enter the security code and then press “Save & Next”.
Step 6.
Tab 2: Photo & Signature –
- Upload a scanned copy of your Passport size photo & Signature. Keep the requirements in your mind. The file size of the Photo and Signature should be within the permissible limits as required there.
- Photo Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred} & Size of file should be between 20 kb- 50 kb.
- The signature Image should be in .jpg format. Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred), Size of the file should be between 10 kb – 20 kb and in black ink. The size of the scanned image should not be more than 20 kb

Tab 3. Details – Fill in your other details as asked there, Educational Qualifications, etc. Fill these with utmost caution. Check it before you “Save & Submit” it.

Tab 4. Preview – This is the best way to cross-check the complete registration form once it is filled out completely. Very carefully check each and every detail that you have put up there.

- It will ask you to write a declaration note in your own handwriting and upload a scanned copy for the same. Write in legible handwriting and upload the image with the permissible limits of file size.

Text for Handwritten declaration –

- The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on white paper with black or blue.

LIC AAO 2023: Salary and Benefits
Pay Scale: Rs. 53600/- per month in the scale of Rs. 53600- 2645(14) –90630– 2865(4) –102090
Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, etc wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximately Rs. 92870/- per month in ‘A’ Class city. Other benefits are Defined Contributory Pension, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance, Vehicle Loan (2-wheeler/4 wheeler) as per rules, meal coupon, reimbursement of the cost of Briefcase/leather bags, mobile handset, supply of dailies and magazines and tea/coffee, mobile expenses, etc. as per rules.
LIC AAO 2023: Job Profile
The service conditions will be applicable as per the prevalent rules of the LIC from time to time. The advertised posts are regular and selected candidates, on the appointment, are liable to be posted or subsequently transferred anywhere in India. It may be noted that most of the vacancies are in the mofussil branches of LIC. As such, after selection and successful completion of training, candidates will be posted for a minimum period of three years in mofussil branches outside their home zones. Probation:
A candidate after appointment shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining. This period may be extended up to two years. During the period of probation, the candidates will be subjected to continuous assessment as per the Corporation’s extant policy. If any candidate fails to achieve the minimum standard stipulated his/her services may be terminated as per the policy of the Corporation in force at the material time.
Guarantee Bond:
Before joining as a Probationer, candidates will be required to give the undertaking to serve LIC for a minimum period of four years from the date of joining (including the probationary period) failing which, he/she or his /her heirs, executors, administrators will be liable to pay liquidated damages of Rs.5,00,000/-only (Rupees Five Lakhs only) + GST or the sum of amount the Executive Director (Personnel) may prescribe from time to time. GST or any other tax payable shall also be borne by the candidate. The candidate will have to submit a Deed of Indemnity and surety at his cost, duly stamped and notarized, the stamp value of which will be as applicable to the State in which the deed is executed by the candidate.
