LIC AAO Selection Process 2025

 

Only the scores obtained in the Main Examination and the Interview will be counted while preparing the final merit list. The preliminary exam is a qualifying stage, and its marks will not be added to the final result. The LIC AAO selection process is divided into three phases:

  • Phase 1: Preliminary Exam (Qualifying only)
  • Phase 2: Main Exam (Scoring and considered for final merit)

  • The exam is conducted online.
  • It is divided into two parts: Objective Test (300 marks) and Descriptive Test (25 marks).
  • The objective test is mandatory and scoring.
  • The Descriptive Test is qualifying in nature.
  • Candidates must type the descriptive answers on the computer.
  • The Descriptive Test will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies in the Objective Test.
  • The English Descriptive Test is only for qualifying—its marks won't affect your final ranking.
