The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has not yet released vacancies available for the UP Police Constable posts 2021. The vacancy will be announced category-wise for each of the posts under UP Police Constable Posts.

The selection process of the UP Police Constable is carried out in 4 stages or steps by the UPPRPB. Selection for the next step or stage depends upon the performances made by the candidates appearing in exams and their overall performances in different stages of exams as follows:
1. Written Exams
- The written exam is the first stage of the selection process
- The exam is conducted for a total of 300 marks having 150 questions (2 marks for each)
- The subjects under the test cover General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability Test, and Mental Aptitude/Intelligence/Reasoning.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- The Exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages.

2. Document Verification
All candidates who qualified for the written exam will be called for the document verification round.
