The Selection Process Of UP Police Constable Exam
Candidates appearing for the UP Police constable exam have to pass through the following stages:
Stage 1
Written exam (Prelims and Mains)- In the Prelims written exam, the candidate has to pass three subjects, ie. Reasoning Ability, Numerical abilities, and General knowledge and current affairs. The candidates will be tested on their general awareness, mental ability, reasoning, and comprehension knowledge in the mains exam. The paper consists of 300 objective questions of 300 marks.

Stage 2
Physical efficiency test- After passing the written exam, the candidates must pass a physical fitness test.
The projected marking scheme is based on a schedule provided by the UP Police Recruitment Board to measure the candidates’ physical strength.

Stage 3
