CAIIB Syllabus

CAIIB Exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance twice a year. CAIIB is generally held in June & December, i.e. after every six months. This exam boosts the career of bankers in terms of growth, opportunities, and salary. CAIIB certification provides advanced knowledge in better decision-making in Treasury management, Risk management, Balance sheet management, Credit Management, International Banking, Economic Analysis, etc. CAIIB consists of two compulsory papers and one optional paper. Will I be able to use a calculator in the CAIIB Exam in 2023?

Calculators are permitted in the CAIIB 2023 exam for computation purposes, but they must be battery-operated. Other digital or scientific calculators will not be permitted in the CAIIB exam 2023 exam hall.

How long CAIIB exam registration lasts after filling out the application form? +

CAIIB exam registration will last three years from the time the application form is submitted online. After three years, the candidate must re-register for the CAIIB 2023 exam.

Is there any negative marking in the CAIIB Exam? +

No, there is no negative marking in the CAIIB Exam.

How many marks in the CAIIB Exam will I need to pass the exam according to the Institute’s passing criteria? +

To qualify for the CAIIB 2023 exam, the candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% in the aggregate. Candidates can also qualify for CAIIB 2021 if they receive 45 points in a single subject and receive a total of 50%.

Will the Institute provide the CAIIB test admit card to my registered address? +

No, the Institute will not send the CAIIB test 2023 admit card to the candidates’ registered addresses. All candidates’ admit cards will be emailed to their registered email addresses. Candidates can also get their CAIIB 2023 admit card via the Institute’s official website.

What is the full form of the CAIIB Exam? +

The full form of CAIIB is the Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers exam.

How many times in a year do IIBF conduct the CAIIB exam? +

IIBF conducts the CAIIB exam twice a year.

What is the CAIIB Exam pattern? +

CAIIB consists of 5 papers- 4 compulsory papers and 1 elective paper.
