SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2024

SSC has its own set of criteria that need to be fulfilled by the candidates to be eligible to apply online for the examination. SSC CGL eligibility criteria are based on three parameters: age, educational qualification, and nationality.

Age Limit

  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.

SSC CGL Physical Eligibility

Graduation Percentage Criteria

To meet the SSC CGL eligibility, the graduation percentage usually doesn’t matter for most positions. But, if you’re applying for the Junior Statistical Officer post, you need at least 60% marks in 12th-grade Mathematics. It’s suggested to have around 45 to 50% marks in your graduation to ensure you easily meet the SSC CGL eligibility.
