The recruitment process is held in 4 stages i.e Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 & Tier 4.

The Tentative vacancies released for the SSC CGL 2020-21 examination are: 6506 (Group ‘B’ Gazetted-250, Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted-3513, Group ‘C’-2743).

9. How To Apply Online For SSC CGL 2020-21?
Candidates need to visit the official website and fill out the application form for the online exam. The registration procedure follows these steps-
- Step 1: To register online, the candidate needs to fill in basic details- name, address, age, contact number, and email id, etc. After the completion of the registration process, the candidate will be provided with a registration number and a password for future use.
- Step 2: The next step involves uploading your scanned photograph and signature (as specified below).
Photograph: JPEG format, size 20-50KB, dimension 200×230
Signature: JPEG format, size 10-20KB, dimension 140×60
- Step 3: Next, the candidate has to enter details regarding his/her educational background, qualifications, marks/grade (as per the mark sheet), and work experience (if any).
- Step 4: The next step is to verify all the information/details uploaded in the form. The candidate can preview the application form to check for any error before the final submission of the same.
- Step 5: The last and final step of online application is payment. The payment has to be made online through net banking/debit card/credit card. The application fee for General/OBC category is Rs.100. For SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen, no application fee is required to be paid. Your application form will be considered ‘submitted’ only after the payment of the application fee.
SSC CGL Notification 2020-21 | Application Fees
- Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Online fee can be paid by candidates up to 02-02-2021 (23:30 hours). However, candidates who wish to make cash payment through the challan of SBI, may make payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 06-02-2021 provided the challan has been generated by them before 04-02-2021 (23:30 hours).
- Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC. If the fee is not received by SSC, status of the Application Form is shown as ‘Incomplete’ and this information is printed on the top of the printout of online Application Form. Further, status of fee payment can be verified at the ‘Payment Status” link provided in the candidate’s login screen.
- Such applications which remain incomplete due to non-receipt of fee will be SUMMARILY REJECTED and no request for consideration of such applications and fee payment after the period specified in the Notice of Examination shall be
entertained. - Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
10. SSC CGL 2020-21 Result
After each phase of the exam, the SSC releases results and the scorecard for the candidates.

Yes, SSC CGL 2019-20 Tier 1 & Tier 2 are bilingual. You can attempt the questions both in Hindi and English.
SSC CGL Application Fee is Rs. 100/-
The SSC CGL 2020 exam notification is not yet released but expected on 21 December 2020
No such number of attempts is specified anywhere for SSC CGL exam. There are certain age limit restrictions based on which the candidates as per the category they belong to can appear for the exam. Aspirants of SSC CGL must not be less than 18 years and cannot be more than 32 years of age (as on August 1, 2018). The age of candidates as present in the 10th and 12th certificates will be considered.
Candidates willing to appear for SSC CGL exam have to undergo four stages. SSC CGL Tiet I (online exam), CGL Tier II (online exam), SSC CGL Tier III (offline exam) and SSC CGL Tier IV (Skill test/computer proficiency test/document verification).
