MP Judicial Services Eligibility

The High Court of Madhya Pradesh is responsible for the conduct of examination and recruitment of eligible candidates for the various prescribed posts including the posts such as Judicial Magistrate First Class or Civil Judge Grade II which are also known as Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services Examination or simply as MP Civil judge examination or MP Judiciary Exam.

MP Judicial Services Eligibility

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has released the notification for the MP Judicial Services - Civil Judge Recruitment along with the MP Civil Judge Eligibility criteria. The candidates are advised to check out the eligibility criteria even before the application form is filled.

The MP Judicial Services Eligibility criteria include the following categories as

Age Limit

As per the MP Judicial Services Eligibility criteria, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and the maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years. However, there is the availability of Age Relaxation based on the different categories. The below-mentioned table provides the Age Relaxation according to the different categories.

Note: The candidates should note that 3 years of Age Relaxation is given only in the case of the above-mentioned categories. Here, the 3 years of age relaxation will be seen from the maximum age limit. In conclusion, it can be observed that the maximum age limit in the case of the above-mentioned categories is 35 – 3 years = 38 years.

Educational Qualification 

As per the MP Judicial Services Eligibility, the candidates should at least have the minimum educational qualification as the Bachelor of Law (LLB) Degree. Here the LLB must be completed from a University/College that is recognized by the Government/Bar Council. Here the LLB may be either of 3 or 5 years duration.

If in case the LLB is completed from the unrecognized University/College, then the candidate may fail to meet the eligibility criteria and not be allowed to the examination.   

Nationality 

As per the MP Judicial Services Eligibility, the candidate must be a Citizen of India. Only Indian citizens are eligible for this exam. 

Candidates from every state in India are allowed to apply for this exam. However, the candidates from other than MP states are to be satisfied with additional prescribed mandatory requirements.

Experience

As per MP Judicial Services Eligibility, No Prior Experience is needed for the candidates to apply for this exam. So, even if candidates have zero experience, they are still eligible to apply.

Number of Attempts 

As per MP Judicial Services Eligibility, the candidates are allowed to take only a maximum of 6 attempts. No attempt which is exceeding the above-mentioned limit to be allowed to the candidate.
