The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have published a notification on their official website for the recruitment of RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) and Group D candidates. RRB has declared a total of 35281 positions for NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) posts and 103769 opportunities for Group D posts, including 443 vacancies for RRB Siliguri NTPC recruitment. Candidates that meet the eligibility requirements for the available positions can apply for this position before the application deadline. Both the recruitment and selection processes include multiple stages of tests. The RRB Siliguri Group D selection procedure is divided into three stages: CBT, Physical Examination, and Document Verification/ Medical Test. RRB Siliguri Recruitment

Siliguri is home to the Railway Recruitment Board, which is part of India’s Ministry of Railways. It is the Indian Railways’ 21st RRB. RRB is in charge of filling Group ‘C’ or non-gazetted positions in both technical and non-technical fields. Alipurdwar Division and Katihar Division are part of the RRB Siliguri. It publishes the job openings in the Employment News. Eligible candidates can review the job descriptions and then apply for the positions. Written Exams and interviews will be used to make the final decision.

RRB Siliguri Eligibility Criteria 

RRB Siliguri NTPC

One can apply for the NTPC under RRB Siliguri only if all the conditions for eligibility are fulfilled. The Eligibility Criteria ARE the following: –

Age Limit: The minimum and maximum age for the general category as mentioned on the official site for RRB NTPC Graduates post is 18 and 33 years, and for RRB NTPC under-graduates post is 18 and 30 years respectively. However, RRB has provided age relaxation for various categories.

Number of Attempts: There is no limit specified to the number of attempts. One can take as many attempts as possible until the age limit is crossed.

Experience: No specific prior experience is required for this post, the candidate need to satisfy only the required educational qualifications. 

RRB Siliguri Group D

One can apply for the Group D post under RRB Siliguri only if all the conditions for eligibility are fulfilled. The Eligibility Criteria are the following: –

Educational Qualifications: Applicants who are applying for RRB Group D posts must pass 10th or ITI from the institution, which is recognized by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (National Council of Vocational Training).

Age Limit: The minimum and maximum age for the general category as mentioned on the official site for the RRB Group D post is 18 and 33 years. However, RRB has provided age relaxation for various reserved categories.

Note: Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any other surgery procedure to correct refractive error are not eligible for the post having Medical Standards A2, A3, B1 and B2.

How to apply for RRB Siliguri NTPC and Group D

Interested applicants can apply online for the NTPC and Group D positions by following the methods outlined below:

1. Go to the RRB’s official website.
2. Go to the “Homepage” and look for the “Recruitment” tab/link.
3. Select “RRB Group D Recruitment”/ “RRB NTPC Recruitment” from the various recruitment links.
4. After clicking the link, you will be presented with a list of railway zones from which to choose. Select “South Eastern Railway” as the Zone for RRB Siliguri.
5. Click on the “New Registration link” and fill out all of the required information, such as your name, e-mail address, and contact information; then click “I accept.”
6. Your phone number will receive an OTP, and your email address will receive an Activation Link.
7. After the email address and mobile number have been verified. You will receive a Registration Number and Password in the mail.
8. Log in with your Registration number and password and give your educational information, as well as upload any required or requested documents such as Category certificates, Marksheets, and so on.
9. Check all of the information and then click “Submit” after you’ve double-checked everything.
10. Pay the needed fees and submit your application.
11. Save the application form to your computer and print it off for future use.

Selection Procedure

Candidates for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician positions will be chosen based on their performance in the written test. CBT tests are divided into two stages. Candidates who passed the first stage of the CBT will be invited to participate in the second round. Candidates who passed both examinations will now be contacted for document verification, a medical exam, and an interview.
