IBPS PO Mains GA Preparation – How to Prepare

Here are tips to prepare efficiently for the IBPS PO Mains GA section:

Do not learn static GK separately. As you’re doing current affairs, learn the static GK information related to the topic you’re learning simultaneously. This will help contextualize a lot of the current affairs topics while helping you cover two parts of the section in one go.
The same goes for Economic Updates. These will be covered as you study current affairs. As such, current affairs is the most important aspect of the section.
For banking awareness, considering the amount of time left, it would be wise to only focus on a few important topics rather than superficially prepare all the topics.
Start your preparation for current affairs in this order – July, August, September, June, October.
The GA section has 40 questions of total 40 marks with 35 minutes to complete the section. Candidates are advised to aim for 32-35 questions with full accuracy.
