IBPS PO Mains GA Preparation – How to Prepare
Here are tips to prepare efficiently for the IBPS PO Mains GA section:
- Do not learn static GK separately. As you’re doing current affairs, learn the static GK information related to the topic you’re learning simultaneously. This will help contextualize a lot of the current affairs topics while helping you cover two parts of the section in one go.
- The same goes for Economic Updates. These will be covered as you study current affairs. As such, current affairs is the most important aspect of the section.
- For banking awareness, considering the amount of time left, it would be wise to only focus on a few important topics rather than superficially prepare all the topics.
- Start your preparation for current affairs in this order – July, August, September, June, October.
- The GA section has 40 questions of total 40 marks with 35 minutes to complete the section. Candidates are advised to aim for 32-35 questions with full accuracy.
