New Coins of Rs 1,2,5,10 & 20 Issued

The government released new Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10 with refreshed design and attention towards the visually impaired citizens. The government also introduced new Rs 20 coins. Coins in this new series have been designed by the National Institute of Design.

Prime Minister Modi flags off Nagpur Metro

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Nagpur Metro through video conference from New Delhi. The 13.5 km long, Khapri- Sitabuldi section of the Nagpur Metro was inaugurated through the digital unveiling of plaque.

White label ATMs to source cash directly from RBI

The Reserve Bank relaxed norms for White Label ATM (WLA) operators & allowed them to buy wholesale cash directly from RBI. It also permitted WLA operators to source cash from any bank, including cooperatives and regional rural banks.
